1. Who provides Logic Refined
Logic Refined is operated by Jeremy Phillip Johnson LaRusso, known professionally as Jeremy LaRusso ("we," "us"). Logic Refined is the product name. These terms govern your account, use of the website and any membership you purchase. Contact larussojeremy@gmail.com for account, billing or contractual questions.
By creating or using an account, you agree to these terms. Purchasing a recurring membership additionally requires your express agreement to the price and automatic renewal before checkout. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and authorized to use the payment method you provide.
2. What membership provides
Membership provides personal access to the Logic Refined logical reasoning practice program, answer explanations, Review and automatic progress saving to your account while your access is active. Public samples can be used without purchasing a membership.
We provide educational practice, not legal advice, an official test or a promise of a particular score, score increase, admission or professional outcome. Questions, explanations and available features may be corrected or updated. An internet connection and a compatible current browser are needed for account access and saving.
2a. Tutor membership and student permission
The tutor membership is $24.99 USD per month, renewing automatically until canceled, with each student keeping a separate $9.99 student membership. Tutor enrollment is open to eligible members through Tutor workspace. Viewing a price does not enroll you or authorize a charge. The tutor plan includes the tutor’s own practice and a single tutor workspace, currently limited to 50 active or pending student connections. Student introductory codes apply only to the student plan. They do not discount the tutor plan.
When tutor checkout is offered, review its exact price, applicable tax, monthly renewal and agreement checkbox before continuing to Stripe. Payment is due on completing that checkout; no tutor free trial is included. Manage and cancel that plan from Tutor workspace → Membership and billing → Manage tutor membership. The separate tutor offer retains its seven-day first-payment refund guarantee; contact support to request it. Existing student members should contact support before changing plans. We do not automatically migrate subscriptions or charge for two plans.
A tutor can invite a specified student email. The student must sign in, review the named tutor and the scope, and expressly choose to share. No invitation or tutor payment alone grants student-data access. Students can review and revoke connections at Your tutor connections, including after paid access ends. Revocation stops future views through that connection; it cannot recall information the tutor previously viewed or copied.
Sharing covers recorded supported fixed-bank answers, selected and correct answer text, question type, editorial difficulty and answer time, including earlier recorded activity and new activity while connected. It excludes private notes, payment information, imported saves and outside-platform results. Generated, two-part and variable-option drills are not included in the initial reporting release. Sharing also includes completed diagnostic and focused-practice result profiles; unfinished assessment answers are not shared. Ordinary study answers are recorded for reporting only while saving to the account is active for that visit. Answers made while saving is paused are not included; earlier browser history is not backfilled into reports. Reports are educational practice records, not official or proctored scores. Tutors must use shared information only to provide the student’s requested instruction, protect it, and not publish, sell or redistribute it. Tutors may not share credentials or use one paid workspace for unrelated tutor operators. A student may connect to up to five tutors.
3. Free trial, price and monthly renewal
New student members receive seven days free after completing card-required Stripe checkout, then $9.99 USD per month until canceled. Stripe displays the exact first-charge date and applicable tax before you confirm. Your account and confirmation email show the verified date. Entering an email or opening checkout does not start access. You expressly authorize the first charge after the trial and monthly renewals until cancellation.
The ordinary introductory trial is available once per verified account to new members. The trial may not be repeated by canceling or creating additional accounts. Returning members may choose the paid membership expressly shown before checkout: $9.99 USD due when checkout is completed, then monthly until canceled, with no further ordinary trial. We do not silently replace a trial offer with an immediate charge.
Cancel before the first-charge date to avoid that charge. Your confirmation states the first-charge date. Stripe also provides its standard trial notice. Trial access ends at its stated end unless a payment is confirmed. A failed or unconfirmed first payment does not extend the free period. Paid access begins only after verified payment; ordinary cancellation preserves an already-paid period.
Individual 30-day student-code promotions remain separate and are unavailable unless expressly enabled, validated and shown in checkout. Introductory offers cannot be stacked or applied retroactively to existing subscriptions.
3a. Individual student access codes
For an eligible invited student using a validated code: card required; $0 membership payment today; 30 days free after you complete the eligible Stripe checkout; then $9.99 USD per month, renewing automatically until you cancel. Stripe displays the first charge date before you confirm the subscription. Your account and billing portal show the actual free-access end date and membership status. Completing checkout, not merely entering a code or requesting an email, begins the free period. Applicable tax, if any, is disclosed by Stripe before you confirm.
Codes are issued individually for a specified student email. Sign in with that email. Each code may be redeemed once before its stated expiration, is nontransferable, has no cash value and cannot be combined or stacked with another introductory offer. The offer is limited to a new member who has not previously used a Logic Refined introductory student offer or had a Logic Refined membership. Creating another account or using another email does not create another entitlement. A code does not refund, discount or extend an existing subscription.
To avoid the first paid charge, cancel before the free period ends. While signed in, open Your account → Manage subscription, cancel in the billing portal and review the confirmation and actual access end date. You may cancel without giving a reason. Do not assume that stopping tutoring cancels your Logic Refined subscription; cancel it separately. If a cancellation ends free access immediately, the portal and your account show that end date. If the cancellation is scheduled for the free period's end, access continues until that date. Cancellation does not itself delete your account or saved progress.
The seven-day first-payment refund guarantee below begins with your first successful positive membership payment after free access, once per customer. A free invoice is not a paid charge and does not start that window. Nothing in this offer limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Where disclosed in your tutoring enrollment, an active Logic Refined membership is a required study resource for tutoring with Jeremy LaRusso; an active student free period satisfies that requirement. The $9.99 monthly Logic Refined charge after free access is separate from tutoring fees. This requirement does not prevent you from canceling Logic Refined, authorize a charge without your agreement, or automatically cancel an already booked tutoring session. Any effect on future tutoring must follow the tutoring terms disclosed to you.
4. How to cancel
While signed in, open Your account, select Manage subscription, then use Stripe's cancellation control and confirm the cancellation. Review the confirmation and scheduled end date in the billing portal. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid that charge. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewals and preserves access through the paid period; it does not itself refund an earlier charge.
Signing out, deleting a bookmark, closing the browser, stopping practice or requesting account deletion does not cancel a subscription. If you cannot access your account or the cancellation control, email larussojeremy@gmail.com from your account email for help canceling. You do not need to provide a reason to cancel.
5. Billing support and refunds
The new seven-day ordinary trial and its subsequent paid continuation do not include a voluntary first-payment refund guarantee. Cancel before the trial's first-charge date to avoid payment, or before a later renewal to avoid that renewal. Ordinary cancellation does not itself refund an earlier charge.
Contact larussojeremy@gmail.com from your account email about a billing error, substantial service failure or rights under applicable law. Include the payment date or receipt; never send full card details. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Earlier accepted offers keep their original promises. Read the earlier membership terms. If you enrolled under the prior seven-day first-payment guarantee, or an individually accepted 30-day student offer carrying that guarantee, the original eligibility and request window continue to apply. Contact support within seven days of the first successful positive payment. Existing recorded requests are preserved. The separate tutor offer retains its disclosed terms.
Approved refunds return to the original payment method. A pending refund is not completed. A successful full refund ends access funded by that payment; saved progress is retained. Bank posting times vary.
6. Account security and saved work
Keep control of your account email and do not share sign-in links. Requested links expire after ten minutes and work once. Your account has sign-out and sign-out-on-all-devices controls; signing out all devices also invalidates unused earlier sign-in links. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access or a billing error.
Study work can exist both in browser storage and in your account. While you are signed in, the study program automatically saves progress to your account and reconciles saved work across your signed-in devices. Check the save status before leaving or switching devices. Work that has not reached your account will not automatically appear elsewhere. If saving is delayed, the app shows a notice and retries when it can reconnect.
Your practice remains available for review in the app. Student performance summaries can be downloaded without question text, answer choices or explanations. Contact larussojeremy@gmail.com from your account email to request access to or an export of your personal data, including after paid study access ends. Cancellation or a refund does not itself delete your account or saved progress. See the privacy notice for storage and deletion requests.
7. Personal use and content rights
While you have access, you receive a personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to use the program and its materials for your own study. An active tutor plan additionally permits using your own workspace and the expressly shared reports to provide instruction to connected students, subject to the tutor terms above. Logic Refined's questions, explanations, design and software remain owned by their respective rights holders. You retain your rights in notes or other material you contribute; you permit us and our service providers to store and process that material only as needed to provide, secure and support your account.
Do not share paid account access, resell or publish the question bank, distribute substantial portions of our materials, or use automated scraping to extract the program. Do not upload unlawful material, impersonate someone else, interfere with other accounts, bypass access controls or attack the service. These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by law.
8. Service issues, suspension and payment reversals
We work to maintain the service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Contact support about a material problem so we can investigate, correct it, or address an appropriate remedy. We may restrict access when reasonably needed to protect accounts or investigate misuse, fraud or a payment dispute. Such restrictions do not take away refund rights required by law.
A successful full refund removes access funded by that payment; a partial refund normally leaves its paid period available. An open payment dispute or inquiry can suspend access funded by the affected payment while it is resolved. A resolved dispute restores that access only if the period is still paid and otherwise valid. A separate valid paid period can still provide access. Contact support if a restriction is incorrect.
If we discontinue a paid service or cannot provide a substantial part of it, we will address affected prepaid access and any remedy required by law. Suspending access is not a substitute for canceling renewal; contact support if your account cannot reach its billing controls.
9. Notices, changes and records
Requested sign-in, account, payment, security and service notices may be delivered electronically to your account email or displayed in your account. This is separate from consent to marketing. Keep an email address you can access. You can print or save these terms using your browser.
We may update the service or these terms. The version and effective date appear above. Material changes to price or recurring billing will be disclosed before they apply to a later charge, with an opportunity to cancel. We will not use an update to retroactively remove an accrued refund right. The offer you expressly accept governs that purchase, subject to applicable law.
For questions or to raise a concern, email larussojeremy@gmail.com. Any mandatory consumer protections remain in place.
