The practice library
Build a focused sequence or bring several question types together. These are additional original questions to use alongside your official preparation.
Separate what an argument needs from what would make it sufficient.
Explore necessary assumptions →Judge which new information changes the support for a conclusion.
Try strengthening and weakening samples →Identify the mistake between the evidence and the conclusion.
Explore flaw questions →Distinguish what follows from what merely sounds plausible.
Try an inference sample →Track conclusions, evidence and the role a statement plays.
See the practice library →Connect an argument or decision with the rule that supports it.
See the practice library →Look past the topic to compare the underlying reasoning.
See the practice library →Find the information that makes apparently conflicting facts fit.
Try a resolve sample →Round out your practice with the remaining logical-reasoning tasks.
See the practice library →Read beyond the argument
Work on what a passage says, how it is organized and what its evidence supports. The library also includes reading-comprehension practice and core-skill checks.
Repeat the skill
Generate additional drills to practice translating rules and drawing valid inferences. Generated variations can reuse ingredients and structures.
Explore conditional-logic practice →Difficulty labels are editorial. Your selection is a preference; the program can use a nearby tier when unseen questions at that level are exhausted. The fixed library is finite, and generated drills are not guaranteed to be unique.
Need more hard practice?
Choose Hard for a tougher session, or include Easy and Medium to reinforce the distinctions you want to make consistently. The levels describe editorial difficulty within this library; they are not calibrated official ratings.
The main bank is finite. When unseen questions at your preferred tier run out, practice can draw from a nearby tier. Use the explanations and saved questions to turn difficult answers into material for review.
Keep official practice tests available for exam-specific timed work. Logic Refined supplies additional original exercises between those tests.

A useful explanation distinguishes the correct answer from a tempting alternative. Here is a short comparison from the bookseller flaw sample.
Try the complete question first →C · Correct answer
treats independent checking of a calculation as making the observations used in that calculation an independent test of the formula.
The clerk independently verifies the error calculation, but the formula was adjusted using the very sales being checked. Accurate arithmetic does not turn the records used to fit the formula into a separate test of its forecasts for new titles.
B · Tempting alternative
assumes that adding information to a forecasting method necessarily improves the accuracy of the forecasts it produces.
The designer offers measured performance on last spring’s titles, not simply the presence of more information. That performance is inadequate as an independent test, but the argument does not claim that every additional detail must improve a forecast.
